Thermal acoustic insulation
Spray polyurethane is used in modern housing in the civil and industrial sectors because it provides energy savings and guarantees living conditions which better respond to the growing requirements for wellness in the home environment.
Expanded polyurethane is applied using a special 'bimixer' machine, which allows application of the product for thermal and acoustic isolation (for example roofs and vertical walls) without the problems of increased thickness and waterproofing (on external foundation walls with a positive thrust).
The most important characteristic of polyurethane is its versatility.
Versatility by physical characteristics - polymer mechanics
- rigid
- semi rigid
- flexible
- expanded
- compact
- closed-cell
- open-cell
- thermoplastic
- thermohardening
Versatility by application techniques:
- by spray casting
- by coating
- by injection
- by extrusion
- by lamination
- by roto-moulding pultrusion
